Sarah is the writer, star and co-producer of "The Fringe Experience". This feature documentary follows Sarah as she launches her new show at the biggest arts festival in the world. In his directorial debut, Hans-Peter Beinert captures Sarah as she navigates Edinburgh Fringe and then brings her show back to Dublin. This is a unique insight into fringe theatre.

Hans-Peter Beinert is a professional photographer from Germany who is based in Dublin. His extensive portfolio covers everything from nature to theatre. "The Fringe Experience" is his directorial debut, which is a documentary that follows actress Sarah Maria Lafferty trying to make her show a success at Edinburgh Fringe. For the BBC Travel Show, Sarah spoke at Sweny's Pharmacy about Ulysses on its 100 year anniversary. In the 'City of Stories' episode, Rajan Datar is in Dublin, a UNESCO City of Literature, celebrating 100 years since the publication of James Joyce's epic novel, Ulysses.

Sarah starred as 'Amy' in a short film called 'In Our Day' which was written & directed by Jason Figgis. It's a moving family drama about a mother and her daughter which is set in Manchester. The film was co-produced by John West, Sarah Lafferty and Jason Figgis.

'In Our Day' was officially selected for screenings at the '9th Dublin International Short Film and Music Festival', the '11th Underground Cinema Short Film Awards' and the '14th Waterford Film Festival.'
