Sarah has been acting since the age of seven. In her first ever role, she played Princess Elizabeth in an Irene Fleming production 'Be careful what you wish for' which was staged at the Hawk's Well Theatre

Under the inspirational stewardship of Seosamh Mac Gabhann, the highly acclaimed Irish language playwright, Sarah was part of four All-Ireland winning productions which were performed in an Taibhdhearc in Galway and in the Mullingar Arts Centre for the Irish language theatre competition 'An Cumann Scoildrámaíochta' which was founded in 1934. For the play 'Páistí ar Strae', Sarah won the Actor of the Day award in 2006 at an Cumann Scoildrámaíochta.
